It starts in Žabljak and goes around the Durmitor mountains. Along the route, you will see the deepest gorge in Europe, vast plateaus and some of the highest peaks in the country. Thanks to the audio guide, you can immerse yourself in the history of the region and Montenegro and you will get to know some of the people who live here who will grant you a brief glimpse into their lives. It is worthwhile to make a detour to Ćurevac, right at the beginning of the tour. From there, you can enjoy the best view of the Tara Canyon. But don't worry – even if you don't want to take the small detour, you will still be able to enjoy an impressive view of this wonder of nature.

The Durmitor Ring is signposted in both directions. Simply follow the brown road signs with the "Panoramic Roads" logo and the number 2. If you want to use this audio guide, you must drive counter clockwise. If you are travelling with a motorhome, it is advisable to drive clockwise. The route is not recommended for large motorhomes.
This audio guide contains directions which should help you with navigation. The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism cannot guarantee that the information and directions given are up-to-date. We therefore recommend that you drive slowly and with foresight.
On this tour, you will reach altitudes of up to 1,900 metres. Therefore, please consider taking adequate and appropriate warm clothing with you, while in good weather, we suggest wearing suitable sunscreen. Please note that entrance fees are charged at the national parks and nature parks in Montenegro.

He pagado para tener una audioguía del camino Durmitor Ring y poder conducir con ella sin cobertura. Aún habiéndolo descargarlo oflline ha sido un completo desastre: no se conectaba aunque tuviera descargado todo el tour offline! La app está muy mal diseñada a nivel técnico

Strongly recommend to download the guide before starting the trip. Except for some cached bugs repeating the same story again, because of loss of gps/network during the trip, this worked really well. Glad we got to know more about the geography, culture and legends of the scenic road trip!

Really helpful to have downloaded this tour. The directional instructions worked almost perfectly and helped at junctions where signage was poor. Despite downloading the tour it lost its place on a couple of occasions and we had to turn around and re-route. One small irritation is that the ‘background’ music is too loud and makes listening to the stories more difficult, perhaps play music as an in-fill instead? Otherwise a fantastic addition and aid to have whilst touring the ring. Thank you.

We had this on our list of things to do and our accomodation in Zabjlak recommended this app. This was a fantastic addition to completing the Durmitor ring. We learnt so much about not only the scenery but the lives and culture in this part of Montenegro. The commentary is informative, easy to listen to and with good instructions on upcoming parking. Thank you for putting this together.

Great addition to our time around Durmitor! It was nice to learn more about the area as we drove the beautiful scenic road. I had downloaded the tour before as recommended and it worked great, playing tidbits automatically as we drove along.

This is excellent! Super informative and well done. Make sure to download on phone before taking off, and to hit play again every time your phone disconnects from the car. I'd also map out the route using offline Google maps just to be safe (and to be able to preview the many blind bends in the road). Wish more countries did this!
