À propos du musée

Not to be missed in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Bois du Petit-Château celebrates the alliance of the Natural History Museum and the Zoo. This is MUZOO!

The Zoo is free of charge and exhibits a variety of wild and domestic animals from the local and European fauna (lynx, otters, deer, raptors…).

The Museum opened at the end of 2022 and features a permanent exhibition about the ongoing biodiversity crisis. Through the museum, visitors can also access the vivarium which presents species from the five continents (reptiles, amphibians, etc.).

To complete the visit, a temporary exhibition hall, a cafeteria, a splendid terrace and a gift shop wait for the visitors.
