During the tour ‘In the footsteps of the liberators’, you march along with the British soldiers who freed Lommel-Barrier of its German occupiers in September 1944. The tour starts at the monument of Joe’s Bridge in the Barrierpark, where so many years ago the war started and ended for the residents in the neighbourhood.
