Good afternoon!
Welcome to Yaremche – a city that has deservedly held the status of the tourist and recreational capital of the Carpathians for over a hundred years.
Located at an altitude of over 525 m above sea level, the city is surrounded on all sides by mountain peaks: Yavirnyk, Makovytsia, Chornohorytsia. The mountains protect it from the winds and create a special mild microclimate here. The healing effect is complemented by dense coniferous forests on the slopes of the mountains. The city is adorned with the rapid Prut River, along which Yaremche stretches for more than 12 km.
Yaremche is a low-mountain resort with a snowy and relatively warm winter (the temperature rarely drops below seven degrees below zero) and a mild summer (the average July temperature is seventeen degrees Celsius). The absence of any industrial production and the peculiarities of its geographical location make the air extremely clean. Year after year, this attracts more and more travelers to the city.
