La Cetate Restaurant

‘La Cetate’ Restaurant is housed by the old Cetățuia fortress, which was designed in the medieval past as a defense point located outside the city walls, it was one of the strategic points of defense of the old city of Brasov. The fortress and its history of over 400 years remind us of the specific atmosphere of those times, offering a magnificent view over the historic center of Brasov. Guests of the restaurant are served by local staff dressed in costumes specific to those times.
The Medieval lounge, the main attraction of the fortress, offers its guests a chamber music program, dances and arias from classical music.
The Transylvanian lounges are ideal for small groups or couples. The lounges inside is keeping the specifics of the sixteenth century by authentic tapestries, armor, lances and shields.
The terrace of the ‘La Cetate’ Restaurant is located in an exceptional scenary.
The Wine-house and Wine cellar is one of the attractions of visitors, where you can taste several Romanian wines.
