By giving voice to the archives, secondary school students show how the other, similar-dissimilar to each other, and therefore equal, was made exclusively dissimilar by anti-Semitism in ideas and actions.
On the website Par les vivants, you will find the archival references and all the productions of the students of Marie-Claire Frutier-Gilson, History and Geography teacher from the Lille academy at the Pasteur high school in Hénin-Beaumont.
Par les vivants is co-directed by Anne-Françoise Pasquier, inspector of the Versailles academy and Annabelle Paillery, project manager at the Ministry of Education's Digital Education Department.
As part of the shared academic work, the TraAM, I took up the project entitled: Par les vivants (By the living), to produce with my final year students the sound journey of several Jewish families from Hénin-Liétard
This sound trail was written and recorded in May 2021 by the final year students of the Pasteur high school in Hénin-Beaumont. The English version of this course was recorded in May 2022 by students of the European section.
I would like to thank Haley Arnold for her help.
