Berwick Street
Whenever you need inspiration, sometimes it’s enough just to go out into the streets of London.
That’s exactly what happened with the group Oasis, who created the cover for their “(What’s the Story?) Morning Glory?” album straight from this street. To be more precise, the photographer Michael Spencer Johns, whose photos had depicted the early years of the group, took a photo of two men walking towards each other on an empty street, and this simple subject graced the cover of one of the most successful and popular albums in the history of rock music. If you don’t believe me then I’ll hum a bit from Wonderwall, and this song will be going round in your head all day long. Maybe even longer.
