There are 22 bas-reliefs lining the walls on either side of the Bodhi Wisdom Concourse. There are also 22 Buddhist Verses written by Venerable Master Hsing Yun in One-Stroke Calligraphy. The bas-reliefs tell the stories of how the Buddha applied his wisdom and compassion to help different people.
The Buddha was born as a human being, cultivated as a human being, attained Buddhahood as a human being, and gave teachings as a human being. The Buddha treated all sentient beings equally without any sense of discrimination.
Through these lively works, visitors can learn about the Buddha’s spirit and philosophy behind his Dharma propagation.
