博物馆 The palace of Hetman Kyrylo Rozumovskyi

Dear, Friends! You are welcomed by the gem of the National Historical and Cultural Reserve “Hetman's Capital” – the palace and garden complex of Hetman of Ukraine Kyrylo Rozumovskyi.

The palace of Hetman Kyrylo Rozumovskyi is the only Hetman's Palace on the territory of Ukraine that came down to our time. This is an architectural monument of national significance, a witness to the glories of Ukraine-the Hetmanate. As well as the only architectural object on the territory of Ukraine designed by the outstanding architect Charles Cameron.

The palace of Hetman Kyrylo Rozumovskyi was restored in 2003-2008 under the aegis of Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko and with the charitable contributions of Ukrainian patrons. In 2009, a museum exhibition dedicated to the era of the Hetmanate and its outstanding figures who fought for the independence of Ukraine was opened on its premises.
