博物馆 Museo Civico Medievale - The Islam below the portici

Welcome to the Museo Civico Medievale in Bologna. This fantastic place of culture is full of history and episodes from the year 1000 to the present day. In this tour, however, we would like to focus on an often underestimated aspect of this museum: the great collection of Islamic art it possesses. Through the many donations this museum has received, many works like these have ended up here, showing a part of history far from our own, but just as fascinating. In each audio you will find a description of the objects and a story recreated based on the function of the object, so that it is infused with life and meaning, while visitors can immerse themselves in the past.
