During this walk, you pass existing and filled-in canals and by reading the information panels you learn a lot about the history of this once so water-rich city. You see the prosperity of the past reflected in the beautiful architectural styles and idyllic streets. Don’t forget to look around you! Can you see the traces that history has left behind? leuke route maar de historische informatie laat regelmatig te wensen over. Een paardentram naar Purmerend? Dat ging toch met de trekschuit. in 1894 komt de stoomtram. Het busstation is van de NAVO uit 1949. Van het oorspronkelijke tramstation ontbreekt elk "spoor" . Als voorbeeld.
