Landscape.Makhinjauri. 1938, oil on canvas, 47×40
The earliest landscapes are related to the artist's student cirlcle in 1938(one thousand nine hundred thirty-nine). The first landscape, that came from Isabekian's student years, is the "Landscape. Makhinjauri" etude. Here is expressed the artisitic, composite thinking of the future artist. The viewer is surprised by the young man’s confidence in linear-painting styles, soft, plastic modeling, dynamic sense of the characteristic rhythm and musical perception.
Oil-painting work is a picture of the Georgian hill-covered picturisque plain image made with a fast, outdoor inspiration as a really sighted scene.
E.Isabekyan remembers that there were many paintings on the Tbilisi Academy, but only this work was kept (saved).
