Audiotur Large carnivores

In our culture, particularly in the italian alpine areas, predators have always taken on a negative connotation as a result of conflicting relationships when Italy and Europe were purely agricultural, and this has been reinforced by the negative image given by fairy tales and legends.

When people abandoned hills and mountains' agricultural areas to populate cities, the woods began to grow and expand again: wild encounters with humans became rarer and people faced a "loss of cultural memory of the predator".
Since the second half of the twentieth century legal protection measures have been proposed for these animals and, consequently there's an increase in the number of individuals present on italian territory has been observed.

In recent decades, wild animals have begun to reconquer historically occupied territories and this is leading to many human-nature conflicts. It's time to find useful tools for a peaceful coexistence.
