    Welcome to St.Louis!

Nestled just below the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers, St. Louis has a rich history of trade, travel, and adventure. This city was once the launching point for Lewis and Clark's famed expedition. As America's population spread rapidly westward, St. Louis was a riverside gateway to the wild frontier. Today, it is a study in 21st-century urban renewal that buzzes with much of its old energy.

With its incredible arch and eclectic neighborhoods, St. Louis always seemed magical and exotic. St. Louisans are fiercely protective and appreciative of the city’s many quirks and loyal to their neighborhoods. The affordable living costs and beautifully crafted homes, many in historic districts, make the city an attractive choice for many. The food and art scenes are experiencing particularly exciting growth. Creative and industrious types are taking advantage of the unique opportunities the city offers and making truly inspired things happen.

The city’s population is roughly 320,000, but when you add in the county, it blooms to almost 3 million, making it the 4th largest urban area in the Midwest.

In this tour, we will explore the eastern part of St. Louis downtown ending at the riverfront. We will see how rich is the history and culture.
