2. The Monte Carlo race was included in the calendar of the very first season of the F1 championship series in 1950. Since 1955, the Monaco Grand Prix has been a perennial event on the Formula 1 schedule.
3. The Formula 1 championship race has been held in Monaco 63 times. This figure is second only to Monza, which has hosted 66 championship races.
4. The circuit in Monte Carlo is the shortest of all modern Formula 1 tracks.
