Eastern rosella

The Eastern rosella inhabits the south-east of Australia and the island of Tasmania. The basis of nutrition is fruits and seeds of herbaceous plants both wild and cultural. In addition to plant food they eat insects making great benefits to agriculture. These parrots are often kept at home and they can live up to 25 - 30 years with a good care.
