Lincoln Borglum Museum
The Lincoln Borglum Museum answers these and other questions visitors often ask. The museum houses two 125-seat theaters where "The Shrine," a short film which provides an introduction to the memorial. You will also find over 5,200 square feet of interactive exhibits, which detail the history and development of the sculpture.
The Exhibit Hall has several interactive exhibits. You can listen to interviews with the workers on Mount Rushmore, view historic footage of the carving process and learn more about Gutzon Borglum, the sculptor. There is even an exhibit where you can become a worker on Mount Rushmore detonating dynamite charges on the mountain.
