Welcome to Exploring Detroit’s Sculptures and Monuments, Part Two. I’m Dick Shafran and I'll be your guide as we visit 15 locations to learn about the sculptures and monuments in and around Grand Circus Park. Total walking distance is about two miles and will take approximately an hour and a half to complete. On your walk, I’ll shed a little light on Detroit and regional history while introducing you to masterworks of a few world renowned artists.

Our suggested path is a complete loop so take a look at our map and get yourself to any convenient numbered point to start. I'll tell you all about the artifact you're near and then let you know where to go next. And, if you see something interesting that isn't on the tour, feel free to wander over and investigate. I'll be waiting for you right where we left off.
