Collection #10. "2 million euros, and you will be happy." Betulin production has begun in Latvia. This is a natural substance from birch bark that can be used in cosmetology or pharmaceuticals. The company Latvijas Finieris will be engaged in production. Previously, birch bark was considered waste here, but now it is a valuable raw material. In 2022, the first production of betulin in the Baltics was opened in Riga. Latvijas finieris invested 2 million euros in the production of betulin.
