Cuban tree boa

The Cuban tree boa is the only big species of boas in Cuba. They inhabit forests where they usually stay on trees or hide in caves. It is non-poisonous. It is highly fastidious in choice of food. The Cuban tree boa prefers bats. In captivity, it eats rodents but can also eat chickens. This snake is viviparous; the young are very large but their number is small. The Cuban tree boa is endangered species because the forests being its main habitat are being cut down.
