Start : as any urbirun route, you can start wherever you want. Watch for route rotation direction.

Enjoy an amazing run in one of Europe's most beautiful cities. Jewel of the Renaissance, Florence is a real outdoor museum, not to mention the artistic wonders that countless palaces and museums conceal behind their walls. Run through streets which have not changed for centuries, from the reign of the Medici dynasty, who was surrounded by the most talented artists of the time, and gave this town its cultural, economic and political influence, to make it a powerful and world famous city in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. From the majestic Duomo to Ponte Vecchio, through the hills of Oltrarno to Santa Croce, you will run an incredible journey in time.

*Alternative route: at some point, you can choose the shorter route (9.3km), which doesn't climb all up the hills, and doesn't cross the Michielangelo Esplanade viewpoint.
