Kazakhstan is a multiethnic country, where today representatives of more than 130 nations and nationalities live in friendship and harmony. The population of the country is 17.5 million people, of which the state-forming Kazakhs are almost 66%. For a very long time we have developed a special tradition of relations between peoples. Throughout the world, people began to talk about the existence of a “Kazakhstan model of interethnic and inter-religious harmony”. It is based on the tolerant and tolerant attitude of the Kazakhs to all ethnic diasporas and the latter to each other, who by will of fate found themselves in the territory of our common homeland.   

     The 20th century was tragic and harsh for all Kazakhstanis: campaigns to resettle, expel, deport to our republic millions of people who found their second homeland here. The heart of the Kazakhs was not pissed and callous. As always, they showed their best qualities worthy sons and daughters of the Great Steppe. In all possible ways, they helped the settlers to adapt in a new place, sharing with them the latest bread and shelter.
