Dijon has always been one of the most historic and elegant cities in France. For a couple of centuries it was the capital of the hugely rich and influential Duchy of Burgundy – often outshining France’s royal court. It was not bombed by either side during World War II which means it has an impressive stock of medieval buildings for tourists to explore. This tour with Tim Richards and Dijon guide Guy Tonnellier will take us to more than twenty points of interest in the city and then out by local bus to some of the interesting places on the Cotes de Nuits wine area stretching south of the city. We’ll start at the Place de la Republique…
