The House of the Blackheads is an openwork building recreated from a 14th-century original on Riga's Town Hall Square. Today it is one of the main attractions of Riga. We invite you to complement the vivid impression of this building with an acquaintance with its history. First, we will examine the building from the outside, then we will move inside and get an impression of the interior decoration of the House of the Blackheads. And we will find out who these “Blackheads” are. Peter I, Catherine II, Elizabeth II, Wagner, Liszt, Rubinstein... - and these are not all famous personalities, names that will be heard during our excursion. Our walk will cover the time period of the 8th century from the 4th to the 21st centuries, and in time it will be 1.5-2 hours. We invite Riga residents and guests of the city, we will show you everything and tell you everything, join us, it won’t be boring.
