Virginia is one of the original thirteen states of the USA. It ,lies just west of the capital Washington DC and is bursting with history, beautiful rolling farmland and it climbs into the Blue Ridge Mountains which are partly within the Shenandoah National Park. Early presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison built fine homes here.
