Meet Echo, a 46-foot-tall, gargantuan head by world-renowned sculptor Jaume Plensa. You might call it a real head turner. Echo is a mountain nymph from Greek mythology, who caught the eye of Zeus. This angered Zeus’ wife Hera, who struck Echo dumb, except for the ability to “echo” back the last thing spoken to her. The sculpture is made of polyester resin over steel framework with a little marble dust sprinkled on top.
