Kolomenskoe means not just a park and a natural reserve but a century-old museum housing artworks of various epochs and fields of life.
In 2022, a year before the museum's centenary, a 'Digest Collection' exhibition was open to bring together our collection gems. 25 art objects, including rare books, elaborate wooden sculpture, architectural decor as well as everyday-life objects that went out of use long before the present day, followed each other on display throughout the year. On our Izi Travel page, we decided to keep this project going virtually to give you a laconic picture of our rich collection, nowadays presented on permanent display or temporary exhibitions.
Wishing you a pleasant virtual tour, we look forward to seeing you at the museum!
