Shops are open Monday to Saturday with retail hours going from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and then from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Most shops stay close on Sundays but sometimes, depending on the time of the year, it’s easy to find some fashion shops open. The city shuts down in August for almost the whole month due to summer holidays. Sales take place in January and July.
