Audioguía Aunt Marijke with Jort Kelder

In this walking route of 7.6 km Jort Kelder takes you on a journey through the life of Maria Louise of Hesse-Kassel, who was affectionately nicknamed "Tante Marijke" (Aunt Marijke) or in Frisian "Marijke Meu".

We stop at a number of places in Oranjewoud where you can learn more about the life of this Princess of Orange-Nassau. On the way we pass striking country houses and landscaped nature. We stop at points of interests, but be sure to look around by yourself as well. That way you can also learn more about the nobility, buildings and other interesting points in this area.

During the route we pass by a catering facility, the Golden Tulip Hotel Tjaarda. The route also includes a walk through an outdoor garden. You can decide for yourself how long you want to make that walk. This route takes you in a circle around the garden
