Audioguía Exposition Stephen Jones

Stephen Jones is a renowned British milliner, celebrated for his creativity and collaborations with prestigious fashion houses. Born in 1957 in Cheshire, he emerged on the London scene in the late 1970s, becoming one of the most influential milliners of his generation. 
The Palais Galliera, the Fashion Museum of the City of Paris, is dedicating an exhibition to him titled "Stephen Jones, Artist Hats". This retrospective, the first in Paris to focus on Jones, runs from October 19, 2024, to March 16, 2025. 
The exhibition traces Stephen Jones’s journey, from his childhood in northern England to his international career. It highlights his creative process, sources of inspiration, and collaborations with designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, and Christian Dior. 
The exhibition offers an immersive experience into Stephen Jones's flamboyant world, celebrating fashion as an art form and emphasizing the importance of the hat in costume history. It aims to raise public awareness of the art of millinery and Jones's impact on contemporary fashion.
