About the museum

Illuzio graphic arts festival. Hungarian contribution to the global culture of graphic arts of the Twentieth century.

The festival is organised by the Russian state library, Hungarian embassy and the Hungarian cultural center in Moscow. It is taking place from the 14th of December till the 15th of January in the legendary Third reading room (entrance #1) and also in the Blue Hall and the Marble Staircase of the main RSL building (entrance #3).

The phenomena of optic illusion, perspective and ways of interaction with the global graphic arts heritage became the focus of the festival. Masterpieces of worldwide known Hungarian artist Istvan Orosz act as a link connecting the variety of festival events.
