Due to the safety measures to avoid the spread of the Covid-19 virus, it’s impossible to see this room.
This little room shows the results of Lombard painting during the sixteenth century, between the long lasting influence of Leonardo and the example of the Piedmontese painter Gaudenzio Ferrari.
Near this little room, there is the reconstruction of a cycle of frescoes, Stories from the lives of saint Joachim, saint Anne and the Virgin, from Saint Joseph chapel in the church of Santa Maria della Pace in Milan. It was made around 1515 by Bernardino Luini.
