Before us is a portrait of the artist Henrik Siravyan, which has a deep characteristic meaning and portrays the inner world of the creative nature, of the artist. Siravyan was a student of Isabekyan; and later a friend. Therefore the picture is painted in warm colours, but with sharp decisions of colour interplay, and this play of colour and half-turn of the head which adds to the expressiveness of the gaze. In this portrait, the artist has fully realised his own idea.
