The fact that Montespertoli has dedicated a museum to vineyards, wine and vinification may seem obvious, but in this case an effort has been made to do much more: the museum has not been built in the center of the village, but in the countryside, the place from which one of the most ancient products of mankind comes from. The fundamental elements needed for the creation of this wine are air, weather, sun and earth. Drinking a glass in the countryside has a different flavor, and when we will have some at home we will be living an atmosphere of celebration and conviviality. As during those summer nights when, after harvest, people enjoyed parties and music. And the tenor Amedeo Bassi, our guide, reminds us how wine and notes, that he brought from Montespertoli to places all over the world, are a perfect combination.

We are going to visit not only a museum, but a welcoming and lively culture center, thanks to wine and the many products that are brought here from the surrounding hills and are appreciated and sold in a perfect implementation of the short chain.

In addition to vinification procedures and objects, in the exhibition section we are going to find human thought and activity, two elements that, when joined together, give rise to culture.

Material culture, a heritage that we can find in anyone here. People who, even without the vocabulary of a sommelier, will be able to get to the same objective: recognize the best wine, Chianti, and the delicious land products.
