Discover Historic Goodwood is a walking tour of fourteen stops, taking you on a journey of local living history. Uncover stories about iconic sites and buildings and hear tales from locals to the area.

As you walk from one stop to the next, audio will automatically commence, keeping you company as you walk. Keep your eye on the map, or watch out for the special pavers so you will know when you have reached the next stop. In order for this walking tour to operate in the best way we suggest:
    1. Loading the tour using wifi. There is free wifi at Goodwood Library,
    2. Enabling 'push notifications' for the app,
    3. Turning on wifi and bluetooth so the GPS operates effectively,
    3. Using headphones so you can hear the audio (Goodwood Road can be noisy!), and
    4. Ensuring your phone or tablet is sufficiently charged.

And, just a reminder to exit completely from the app when you are finished, otherwise it may drain your battery.

This walking tour involves crossing Goodwood Road twice and in both instances there are pedestrian crossings nearby. Please utilise them to cross safely.

This project is a collaboration between The City of Unley, Open Space Contemporary Arts, Alyssa Hill Consulting and the vibrant Goodwood community.

Discover Historic Goodwood is part of an ongoing series of historic walking trails, including Discover Historic Unley. Would you like to know more about the history of Goodwood or the City of Unley? The Unley Museum has many more interesting stories to share, displayed in exciting exhibitions. You can visit the Unley Museum at 80 Edmund Avenue, Unley.

While you are here on Goodwood Road, check out the many local facilities, shops, businesses and cafes. Admire the various and diverse public artworks on the streets, on fences, in planter boxes, at road intersections and in local venues.
