About the museum
Welcome to the Biodiversum! Find out here about what you can expect to find outside in the Haff Réimech nature reserve!
The ponds of the Haff Réimech reserve make it a wetland area of great national and international importance, classified as a European Bird Protection Area and Ramsar site. Here visitors will find freely accessible discovery trails so that they can enjoy nature and watch the rich bird life from one of the many observation hides.
The exhibition in the Biodiversum centre covers an area of 1200 square metres over three floors. It includes not only information panels, exhibits and models but also about 20 interactive exhibits and games for young and old, on the subjects of people, nature and sustainability. Discover how the Moselle valley has developed over the years, learn about the habitats and species of Haff Réimech, biodiversity and nature conservation, take a tour around the world, and get to know Haff Réimech by night, our bird life and the temporary exhibitions.
At the Reception desk you can borrow a pair of binoculars free of charge or buy a small souvenir.
The centre offers guided tours and activities for groups and schools or for children's birthday parties. You can find our programme here: www.nature.lu [pronounce nature in English]. To contact us or book, please e-mail biodiversum@anf.etat.lu or talk to Reception. We are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday.
