Utopia Saved is the first solo exhibition of South Korean artist Lee Bul in Russia. Her installations incorporate multiple references to social and political history. Lee Bul has said that she strives to convey a sensation of traveling in time through different historical eras.

In this exhibition, the artist’s works are displayed side-by-side with the Russian avant-garde pieces that inspired her. The works on view offer an introduction to Lee Bul’s latest creative period, in which she developed an interest in modernist culture. These works tie the era’s artistic and philosophical concepts in with Lee Bul’s personal experiences and impressions and with her reflections on our future.

    Интересная выставка. Понравились инсталляции: здорово, когда можно повзаимодействовать с работой. Также понравился подход выставки: представлены эскизы работ, а также картины, которыми вдохновлялась Ли Бул

    Очень интересная и необычная выставка. Смотреть лучше с аудиогидом. Так все становится понятно и интересно смотреть

    Такое себе современное искусство.... Не понравилось, пока было темно на втором этаже было лучше.
