This tour was created by Lake Macquarie Landcare in celebration of 2021 National Landcare Week. For enquiries call 4921 0392  or email  lro@lakemac.nsw.gov.au

Green Point Foreshore Reserve covers over 150 hectares of land and is home to a wide variety of landscapes, including endangered ecological communities that support a range of threatened species.

To get to the starting point of the tour, travel along the Pacific Highway and turn into Green Point Drive Belmont. Drive right to the western cul-de-sac end of the road and find a park.

The audio tour goes for around 20 - 30 minutes, but please take your time to enjoy yourself while here. There is no rush!

Ensure you are wearing enclosed, non-slip footwear and protective clothing. The route is taken mostly along established trails.

Please be careful of both yourself and the plants around you.

Thanks to Hugh Robertson and Win Warner for so generously sharing their time and knowledge with me to create this tour of Green Point Foreshore Reserve Landcare.

Produced by Meg Bruce (Lake Macquarie Landcare Communications Officer)

A wonderful overview of the work we do with Landcare. It's a privilege to have Green Point Reserve as our backyard.
