1. The Yas Marina Circuit is located on the artificial island of Yas east of the center of the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
2. The circuit, which was built especially for F1 racing, was opened in 2009.

4. Yas Marina, which was designed by Herman Tilke, runs along the coast and is in no way inferior to the picturesque track in Monaco.
