welcome to National museum of Egyptian civilization,” NMEC “is the first museum of civilization in the Arab world and is the only museum in Egypt that gives an overview of all ears of the Egyptian civilization (prehistory till nowadays).
NMEC is located in Cairo near the archaeological site of Egypt`s first Islamic capital “El FUSTAT. the first capital in Islamic Egypt.
NMEC Collection (about 50 000 objects ) will include archaeological and ethnographical artifacts, paintings and jewelry, intangible heritage collection and master pieces ranging from prehistory to present day
so we will take a tour through the past to explore the Egyptian civilization
