About the Museum
This audio guide was designed as an author-led tour through the history of the Salaspils concentration camp, created as part of the historical and linguistic project ‘Audio Guide to the Salaspils Memorial: History, Memory, Translation.’ The script is based on research materials by historian Vladimir Bogov, a specialist on the concentration camp.
The content for the author’s tour was provided by Maria Aleksandrovskaya-Bogova, the director of the foundation ’Authentic History’ named after Vladimir Bogov.
The audio guide was adapted for general audience by historian Ksenia Chepikova.
English translation was carried out by school pupils , university students, and teachers from 13 regions of the Russian Federation.
The narration was performed by Sabina Sadrutdinova, one of the participants in the project and a student at the Kutafin Moscow State Law University and recorded in a professional studio.
Translation expertise and voice coaching were provided by Anna Balabekyan , Victoria Pukhkaya and Maria Kayumova.
Respectfully yours,
