Museum Rufferdinge Experience Centre - Landen

The Rufferdinge watermill was in operation until 1966, and until 1924 beer was also produced here. After the opening of the visitor centre, the city of Landen converted the Rufferdinge mill into an experience centre.

The main themes are agriculture, technology and hydropower. The mill building also houses the tourist information point. Be sure to visit our mill and discover how traditional craftsmanship used to work.

It is the ideal base for exploring the treasures of the historic city of Landen, with walking routes, cycling tours and much more!

During the visit, guided by parents, children explore the mill through a playful treasure hunt. While solving a break-in, they gradually discover how the mill works and the role of gears in the mill and in our daily lives.
