The starting point of this interesting trek is the main square of Vilminore where you can find an exposition space dedicated to the Gleno's disaster. There you can also visit S. Maria Assunta and S. Pietro Apostolo Church.
The itinerary continues towards the Temple donatore, where you reach the beginning of the Ronchi path.Take a deviation from the main path to get to the napuleu cabin: here you can rest or shelter from bad weather.
Continue on the uphill path and you will find a flat stretch. After a while you will get to the gleno dam: here you can have some bread and strinù at the kiosk in front of the lake.
At this point start the downhill towards Bueggio; halfway through the path you can stop at the observatory to admire the surrounding landscape.Continue to go down and you will get to the Gleno bridge, where you can take a break before going towards the village in which you will be able to see the destruction caused by the fury of the water.
Keep on walking and you will reach the Wooden Bridge overlooking the Povo stream.Continue uphill and you will finally arrive at the Church of San Carlo in Vilminore, the starting point of this trek. This itinerary is recommended to averagely experienced hikers, during Spring, Summer and Autumn.
